Feet Running Towards Mischief...

I can think of very few things that get an overly zealous saint running like these six words "I've got a word for you"... These words put the run in a Saint’s feet, faster than an altar call at a Baptist church! These words work on folks as if God himself has come down...or E.F. Hutton has spoken. We drop everything to hear this mysterious "word" only to find that this "word" is composed of the giver's own thoughts, imaginings, and interpretations. One of the biggest problems that we have to deal with in redirecting this latter-day church from fiction back to fact, and from foolishness back to righteousness is to speak on these things.

Heresy is any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with the word of God.
A heretic is a proponent of such claims or beliefs. Pastors, do you want to feel your pews on Sunday morning? We'll, right around Wednesday, put those words on your Marquee out front and I guarantee you it will increase your Sunday morning offerings.

If we were to take the time to read the old testament, we would know that God always had a word for his people but somehow that word was always "repent and turn" not this latter-day message of "your greater shall be better than..." Or "you're the head and not the tail"... or how about, "God told me to tell you that you're coming out!"
