“You are under penalty of death but you fail to deliver the warning”…

Ezekiel 3:18

 Watchmen On The Wall

~ by Amber Rogers

When a dominant, controlling, spirit enters the atmosphere you know it. People submit to his (the bearer's) thought processes, his vernacular, his ideologies and ultimately his influence. When you add into this juxtaposition, a celebrity, with mass crowd appeal, and his history of occultist invocations, then the church, as a body, should take note.

As watchmen on the wall, "We. Take. Note!!" At the slightest threat of infiltration, we will stand a little more erect, our thoughts are quickened from folly to that of protection...as we wait to see the "production of fruit." Our minds, body, and spirit simultaneously align in rigid formation, all the while our members pulsate within us with screams to protect!"

"Where is he coming from? What is he carrying? Does he mean this body harm?" All these questions invade our inner spirit with the red- siren of alert; because we understand the wiles of the devil!

Watchmen on the wall cannot be overly concerned with "political correctness," hurt feelings, nor the perception of men because we are commissioned! We are the protectors of the faith, defenders of the Word, and guardians of His promise. Question? Should we open our homes to any stranger that rings the bell, who comes with the announcement that he has a "better way?" Should we politely swing the door open and allow him to step into our sanctuary and instruct our children on what is wrong within our family?

The problem as of late, is not an unbending Church refusing another's entrance into the body of Christ, It is the question of "who sent you?" And in whose name have you come? When your reputation has preceded you, and we knew you to be of another father, but you present yourself to us as one who wants to "lead" our way... Then, the "watchman" in us stands up!..."Take my yoke upon you, and "learn" of me" is the invitation that Jesus has given, however, when "you" come through the window and not the door and you want to teach a new way... "the watchmen in us again, stands up!" Even the apostle Peter, who was filled with the holy ghost, upon his entrance into Jerusalem, "had to bring receipts!"
We will never apologize for precaution... but with great patience, we all will await this great "fruit" to spring forth with its apparentness- then, as a body, we will give God the glory for this great thing that he has done!!!"
